Memang sesuatu yang menyeronokan bagi kaum perempuan kalau dapat berbelanja ni. Lebih-lebih lagi kalau berbelanja barang-barang basah.

Kebetulan malam khamis baru ni kawan ajak pergi dinner di Chow kit, cari makanan padang disana, saya apa lagi seronoklah sebab dah terbayang sayur-sayuran dan buah-buahan segar disana.

Di Chow Kit ni, berbelanja waktu malam memang sesuatu yang menyeronokan. Tak panas cuma kalau bawak kereta kena tempuh kesesakkan lah sikit sebab banyak kereta berhenti sesuka hati tepi jalan untuk beli sayur-sayur ni. Tak silap saya pukul 2 ke 3 pagi pun masih ramai orang membeli belah disini.

Selepas makan nasi padang yang ada disana (malas nak tunjuk sebab kurang memuaskan), saya pun singgah di gerai-gerai tepi jalan disana. Seronok sungguh saya ketika melihat petai-petai bergantungan, sayur-sayur tersusun cantik dan macam-macam sayur-sayuran kampung ada disana.

Dari satu gerai kesatu gerai saya pergi , macam-macam sayur-sayuran yang saya beli. Nampak gaya makan sayur je lah minggu ni..hehehe.

Memang kebanyakkan sayur dan buah-buahan segar-segar di Chow Kit ini , berbelanja sayur-sayuran dan buah-buahan disini pun murah berbanding dipasar raya.

Cuti pertengahan tahun 2013 sudahpun bermula. Mungkin ramai yang sudah merancang untuk pergi melancong ke luar negara, dalam negeri atau ke mana saja destinasi percutian. Di sini saya kongsikan sedikit maklumat yang boleh dijadikan sebagai panduan bercuti dengan kos yang minimum.

Buat perancangan awal

Rancang percutian keluarga lebih awal, sekurang-kurangnya tiga atau empat bulan lebih awal daripada tarikh ingin bercuti. Ia untuk memastikan anda cukup masa memilih destinasi, tempat penginapan dan pengangkutan yang sesuai dan menjimatkan.
Tentang kewangan, peruntukan sejumlah wang untuk aktiviti tersebut setiap bulan. Misalnya, ketepikan dua atau tiga ratus setiap bulan. Pasti bila tiba masanya, wang tidak lagi jadi masalah.

Tempat penginapan

Pilih tempat penginapan yang sesuai dengan kuantiti keluarga anda. Jika ahli keluarga kecil, bilik hotel atau chalet sangat sesuai. Tetapi untuk keluarga yang besar, pemilihan apartment mungkin dapat meminumkan kos.

Memasak sendiri makanan

Ini sungguh menjimatkan. Terutamanya bagi keluarga yang besar. Pilih apartment yang mempunyai dapur untuk memasak. Anda boleh membawa barangan keperluan memasak dari rumah. Jadi, tidak perlu membelinya di tempat percutian kerana harganya mungkin mahal sedikit.
Jika tinggal di hotel bawa sendiri makanan atau minuman ringan kerana apa yang disedikan dalam mini  bar akan dikenakan bayaran yang mahal dibandingkan dengan harga di luar.

Masak makanan yang ringkas

Jika memilih untuk memasak sendiri, tidak perlu menyusahkan diri memasak hidangan yang susah. Pilih sahaja masakan yang ringkas dan mudah.

Bawa bekal

Berjalan dengan kanak-kanak memang banyak kerenahnya. Apa yang dilihat pasti mereka hendak beli. Pastikan sebelum berjalan, anda sudah memberi mereka makan atau bawa sendiri makanan ringan yang menyihatkan dalam beg anda.

Bila melancong pasti ada sahaja buah tangan yang hendak dibeli. Belilah barangan yang tidak ada di tempat kita ataupun yang setimpal dengan harganya. Jangan biarkan diri tertipu dengan pelbagai tawaran. Ingat! Berbelanja ikut keperluan bukan kemahuan.

Users of popular crowd-sourced travel site Gogobot have chosen their favorite destinations this summer, giving top nods to Barcelona for its sun-soaked beaches, dynamic outdoor scene and cosmopolitan offerings.

After asking their community of 2.5 million users to name their favorite summer spot, the Catalonian capital emerged the top-rated destination out of a possible 60,000 cities. Here are the top 10 cities this summer, according to Gogobot.

1. Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona’s Mediterranean weather, cosmopolitan offerings, beaches and pulsing music and outdoor festival scene have made the Spanish city the top summer destination for users of the popular crowd-sourced travel guide Gogobot.

2. Chicago, US

After a harsh, brutally cold winter, Chicago comes alive in the summer with jazz festivals and baseball games that draw out residents and tourists alike to the city streets, all reasons why Gogobot users chose the Windy City as their second favorite summer destination.

3. New Orleans, US

The big tourist draw for NOLA in the summer is that prices drop following the spring peak season, says Gogobot. Culinary offerings and outdoor festivals can be had at a fraction of the price. But be warned, it gets searingly hot in summer and is best enjoyed by those who like to bask in heat.

4. Alaska, US

At No. 4, Alaska was chosen among Gogobot users for its midnight sun which prolongs daylight into the wee hours of the night and the swaths of Alaskan greenery and wildlife brought to life after a long winter’s hibernation.

Festival Grounds Guide Map: This easy-to-use map provides a systematic route guide to various facilities within the festival grounds. The map also contains a list of all exhibitors and facilities (food & beverage, drink pits, first aid centre, toilets etc.) available.

Strategically located information booths within the festival grounds provide specific information on products, display and other information.

There will be sufficient signages placed within the festival grounds to guide visitors through the park and displays with ease.

First-aid staff will be on duty throughout the opening hours of the festival. Seating: Seats and benches will be provided throughout the festival grounds.

There are several F&B outlets throughout the festival grounds. Only HALAL certified caterers will be serving food and beverages during the festival.

The offices of the Organiser are located at a centralised zone at the festival grounds near the main entrance.

Children activity zones are available on the festival grounds which offer various fun activities. Children must be accompanied by their parents / guardians at all times. Physically Challenged Visitors: Most of the routes on the festival grounds are accessible by wheel chair.
